Another spotlight on one of our amazing volunteers …… this time it’s Emma.
Most months we run a rock n roll dance at the nearby Bishopswood Village Hall to raise awareness and funds for the sanctuary. Every dance, despite her many, many commitments Emma is there for us helping to make the evening a success and looking after the refreshments.
Emma says that the reason she gives her time up so generously:
‘I’ve always dreamed of having my own little farm where animals could be safe, loved and cared for, so supporting Pen y Bryn Sanctuary feels incredibly special to me. What Peter and Kelly do rescuing animals, giving them a second chance, and making sure they have the happiest and best life possible. I love helping with fundraising because every little bit can make a difference to an animal who needs care, love and a safe place to call home. I’m also incredibly proud to have adopted ebby, one of the beautiful sheep, and being part of the journey makes supporting the sanctuary even more meaningful to me. I’m so grateful to be able to help Pen Y Bryn in any way I can and to support the amazing work they do for these animals.’
