Tootsie

We feel incredibly honoured to have Tootsie residing with us. This wonderful barn owl was discovered in Pembrokeshire being attacked by seagulls. Originally a wild bird there was evidence of it having been illegally captured and then subsequently released. When the RSPCA asked for help in providing a safe environment for this bird we felt only too happy to step up to the mark and create a suitable aviary. Sadly Tootsie will never be suitable for returning to the wild, but he will always be well looked after at Pen Y Bryn.
